Bruce Le (Huang Kin-lung) Returns to Cinema: All the Truths About His New Movie in Macau

One of the most unexpected news in the world of Asian action cinema has become reality. The legend of Bruceploitation, Bruce Le (real name: Huang Kin-lung, born on March 10, 1956), officially returns to the cinematic scene, leaving behind his long-term absence from the sets.

His return, however, does not happen the way many would expect, as the now 72-year-old creator chooses a different and more mature role behind the cameras.

The Project: "The Fist" The new movie in which Bruce Le participates is titled "The Fist" and its filming began with the established official filming commencement ceremony in Macau.

In contrast to his old cult hits, the movie is not a traditional Kung Fu film with nunchaku and yellow tracksuits. It is an independent boxing drama, which focuses on the realism of the fights and the personal stories of the characters inside and outside the ring.

The Role of Bruce Le Huang Kin-lung will not appear on screen as a protagonist beating up bad guys. His return comes in the capacity of Producer and Action Director. Le uses the deep knowledge he has in martial arts (being trained in kung fu and karate) to guide the new generation of actors and stuntmen, designing the choreographies of the movie's fights.

At the filming commencement ceremony in Macau, Le appeared in civilian clothes and a hat, looking full of energy as he supervised the cast and the crew, proving that his love for action cinema remains alive.
